IDNR and the Dana-Thomas House Foundation are excited to participate in Downtown Springfield Inc.’s Downtown Prom on July 17 by offering prom pictures INSIDE the Dana-Thomas House. A professional photographer will take pictures of you and your prom date for FREE! 

The Downtown Prom is organized by Downtown Springfield Inc., and invites guests to dress up, dine out and celebrate at a variety of participating downtown businesses. Participating downtown bars will host prom night events complete with music and decorations on July 17, and guests are encouraged to move about downtown, utilize photo spots and explore history and shopping throughout the evening. 

No tickets or reservations required.  This is a collective experience, not one specific event Individual business hours/events may vary.  

And Downtown Prom isn’t only about the big night. With downtown’s plethora of museums, salons, florists and boutiques, these local services and attractions are ready to help with the traditional experiences used to get ready for prom. 

To have fun in this collective experience, attendees are simply asked to dress their best and enjoy downtown for an evening.
